What is mindfulness?
Mindfulness is intentionally paying attention to what is happening in the present moment without judging it, whether it's the happenings of your environment or your body. It is seeing things as they actually are without attaching a judgmental narrative to your observations. In the words of Mark Williams, "In mindfulness, we start to see the world as it is, not as we expect it to be, how we want it to be, or what we fear it might become."
